Our People
SIB is governed by a Board of Directors, accountable to the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister. As a professional advisory company, SIB relies wholly on the quality of its people to add value to Departments’ projects and programmes. Our selection processes ensure that we can offer excellent advice to our partners by recruiting and retaining leading practitioners in the field of infrastructure investment, funding and delivery. Our core team is small – comprised of 18 Strategic Advisers who bring extensive experience of funding and implementing major investment projects across the EU and further afield. The Advisory Team has competency in all areas relating to effective infrastructure investment, including:

Our team is committed to supporting the public sector to deliver a stronger physical and social infrastructure, enabling the Northern Ireland Executive to deliver greater economic, social and environmental outcomes. All of the SIB team live and work in the region and have a passion for its ongoing transformation. The majority of advisers have extensive private sector corporate backgrounds.
