General Advice
Strategic Investment Board Limited (SIB) maintains a facility to offer tailored support to Government Departments on procurement strategies in respect of individual projects and/or programmes outside those formally supported.
This advice is provided on request and in most cases, SIB's involvement will be limited - with no involvement formally in the procurement process and/or delivery management. Relevant areas include experience of the procurement process i.e. competitive dialogue, termination provisions etc. In addition SIB has a supporting role in the maintenance of standard contracts (e.g. SoPCNI). Work with Departments on any derogations is also ongoing. There is a need to monitor performance PPP/PFI projects that are now operational in line with contractual terms.
