Listening to our customers

SIB is committed to serving its customers. In Spring 2007 an independent survey was carried out among a representative cross-section of stakeholders to identify the contribution SIB makes to its customers’ work and successes.

Respondents overwhelmingly agreed that SIB has played a positive role in the development of Northern Ireland’s infrastructure. 86 percent of customers were either satisfied or very satisfied with the service they received during 2006. 83 percent of respondents said SIB understands the needs of their organisations, while 73 percent agreed that SIB had helped their organisation in the delivery of infrastructure projects. Additionally, 83 percent of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that SIB has played a positive role in stimulating market interest in Northern Ireland’s infrastructure.

The survey demonstrated that the services stakeholders particularly value include support in managing programmes and projects and the provision of access to specialist consultancy skills. SIB’s advice on contract and procurement law, corporate finance and regulation were perceived as being especially helpful.

This valuable feedback from our partners is important and will be used to help shape SIB’s future development.
