Our people

SIB has a small team of dedicated strategic advisers and support staff working on more than 50 projects across the whole of the infrastructure programme. We also call upon a number of additional experts as required by specific projects.

This work ranges from writing the investment strategy to helping deliver major projects including schools, hospitals and roads. The breadth of the work requires considerable agility from the team, particularly as it seeks to transfer its experience into the public sector.

Our advisers are helping government departments shape the future of public service delivery in a way that is responsive, efficient and represents value for money. SIB is committed to helping the public sector deliver a stronger physical and social infrastructure, enabling Northern Ireland to achieve greater economic, social and environmental performance.

Our budget of £4 million covers staff, administration, rent and rates. We also have an enabling budget of around £4.5m to provide specialist legal, commercial and technical support to individual programmes and projects. The detail of this support is set out in our financial statements.
