 | Tony Watson ChairmanTony has been Chairman of SIB since its inception. Until his retirement in 2006, he was the Chief Executive of Hermes Pensions Management. He now holds a number of other directorships, including Vodafone plc, Hammerson plc, Marks & Spencer’s Pension Fund and Witan Investment Trust. Tony is an economics graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast and a barrister-at-law. |
 | David Gavaghan Chief ExecutiveChief Executive of SIB since July 2004, David previously worked for David Wylde Project Finance where he was one of the driving forces behind its successful growth. He was previously a director of Hambros Bank. In 2007 he was awarded the Public Private Forum award for individual achievement. David read economics and social sciences at Trinity College, Dublin. |
 | Brett Hannam Chief Operating OfficerBrett joined SIB as Chief Operating Officer in January 2006. Previously he worked for the Northern Ireland Office where he was Head of Information Systems, Director of the Causeway Programme and Chief Executive of Northern Ireland’s Forensic Science Agency. Brett holds degrees from Oxford University, the Open University and Queen’s University, Belfast. |

Dr David Dobbin, CBE Non-Executive DirectorDavid joined SIB’s board in October 2005. He has extensive international business experience and is Group Chief Executive of United Dairy Farmers, one of Northern Ireland’s largest indigenous companies. He is Chairman of Intertrade Ireland and a board member of Invest NI. A first class honours graduate in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast, David has also completed post-graduate business courses at the London and Harvard Business Schools. |

James Stewart, OBE Non-Executive Director
James has been a Non-Executive Director of the SIB since its inception. He is the Chief Executive of Partnerships UK Plc and is responsible for leading the company’s work in supporting the public sector to deliver improved public services. Before joining PUK he held senior project finance positions at Hambros Bank and Société Générale. He is a director of Ploughshare Innovations Limited, Sport England, and a member of the Joint Venture Board of Partnerships for Schools. James is a graduate of the University of Oxford. |
